Annette Bergemann is currently working as a post-doc researcher within an interdisciplinary project on empirical labour market issues at the Free University Amsterdam. She is also affiliated to the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA Bonn) and the Institute for Labor Market Policy Evaluation (IFAU Uppsala). Additionally, she participates in the international research project “Advancing Programme Evaluation Methods” funded by the ESRC.
In 2004, she successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis at the University of Mannheim. She previously worked at Tinbergen Institute Amsterdam, University College London, University of Mannheim and the Halle Institute for Economic Research.
Her research interest includes evaluation of active labor market programs, health economics, employment and unemployment dynamics.
