Current position
Since November 2009 I am Professor of Economics at the VU University Amsterdam. I am
affiliated to the Tinbergen Institute, CEPR, IZA and IFAU. Since July 2008 I am working on a five-year project funded by
a Starting Grant of the European Research Council.
Research interests
Labor Economics, health economics, Applied Econometrics, Empirical Industrial Organization.
Previous positions
- January 2003 - October 2009: Associate professor at the department of economics of the VU University Amsterdam.

Policy Evaluation' under supervision of Gerard J. van den Berg and Jan C. van Ours
(Cum Laude).

in Buch an Ammersee (Germany).
- January 1996 - December 1998: Participated in the teaching program of the Netherlands
